What is it like to live in Palm Beach Gardens?
Palm Beach Gardens is a planned city built around golf, green space and a small number of very large gated communities. It is quieter and more spread out than Boca Raton, with a newer housing stock and a strong reputation for its public schools.
Where Palm Beach Gardens actually differs, block to block.
The large golf communities
PGA National, BallenIsles, Mirasol, Old Palm, Frenchman's Creek and Frenchman's Reserve. They differ far more in membership structure and scale than they do in the golf.
The non-golf gated communities
Where buyers land who want the city and the schools without a club obligation. Often overlooked, and usually the better value for a family that does not play.
Alton and the newer construction
Newer, denser and walkable by Gardens standards. Builder warranties, CDD-style assessments and phased completion are the things to read here rather than resale comparables.
East of Alternate A1A
Older, smaller, closer to the water and to North Palm Beach. The least uniform part of the city.

Get a Palm Beach Gardens valuation- The membership document: equity or non-equity, mandatory or optional
- The assigned school boundary for that exact address
- Whether an assessment for a clubhouse or course rebuild is pending
- Golf, social or sports membership, and the waiting list for each
- Roof age and insurability, especially in the 1980s-90s communities
